That, I’m at the store, anything you want me to bring back for you kind of love.
You just ended your date and then spent all night on the phone.
Because its been an hour since you left and she’s already feeling all alone.
The type to call you on your cell and is content to hear you breathe.
The type that means it when she says “I love you more than you love me.”
Every time you see her it feels like it’s your first time.
Sort of like the feeling I got when she told me she’d be mine.
Break something in half to share and give you the bigger piece.
I want you to stay but I know you have to leave.
Not only that, I’ll eat whatever you want to eat.
Then stay up late so I can watch you as you’re drifting off to sleep.
The kind of love that makes me want to give you my last.
I already know what you want before you even ask.
Make good love to you after we have an argument.
It’s my place, but I’d let you decorate my apartment.
Let you watch Lifetime even though my favorite team is playing.
Then we’d go lie in bed and cuddle while listening to it raining.
Let me make us a drink while you’re getting sexy for me.
The type to give me a back rub then relax while I massage her feet.
You make me want to kiss you from your neck down to your stomach softly.
Then power on some slow jams as I pull your body close to me.
Whispering softly in your ear that you’ll always be my baby.
The kind of love that ends in marriage because with us there are no maybes.
