UIC Research Study On Domestic Abuse

Dr. Smith, a professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) is conducting a research study on lesbian women who abuse their female partners. Her goal is to create interventions that will assist health care providers in working with abusers with violence prevention in mind. Dr. Smith is looking specifically for women in the Chicago, Detroit/Ann Arbor and Los Angeles areas. She values the importance of the study and hopes to bridge the gap between lesbian abusers, health care providers and violence prevention. Participants will receive a small stipend.
